Weston Mixed-Use Asset Trades For $13.5 Million

CBRE executed the $13.5 million sale of Millennium Plaza in Broward County.

The 41,058 square-foot, two-story retail/office center, located at 2780-2818 Weston Road in Weston, was sold to KDC Associates, LLC.

CBRE’s David Donnellan, David Wigoda, Patricia Friend and Sean Kelly exclusively represented the seller, 2800 Weston Retail, LLC, in the transaction.

 

“Affluent demographics, strategic regional highway access, and a well-defined master plan that limits commercial development make Weston one of South Florida’s most highly coveted submarkets,” said David Donnellan, senior vice president at CBRE. “Our experience with marketing properties in Weston has been highly successful over the years.”

The property offers quality improvements, exceptional location, and a very solid, diverse and e-commerce resistant tenant roster. Tenants include a nice blend of uses including office, service, retail, and some of the most popular restaurants in the area including Moon Thai & Japanese, BurgerFi and Bellini Italian Bistro.

 

“Weston boasts some of the strongest market fundamentals in the region for both office and retail properties, which drives strong tenant demand for office and retail space as well as investor demand for product in the city,” said David Wigoda, senior vice president at CBRE.

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Mr. Donnellan and Ms. Friend focus on the disposition of multi-tenant shopping centers and single-tenant net leased investments in South Florida. Based in Miami, Mr. Wigoda and Mr. Kelly focus on the disposition of office and industrial investments in South Florida.
