Two Pompano Beach Projects Valued At Over $85 Million Receive Site Plan Approvals

Joseph Pasquale, president of Pasquale Kuritzky Architecture, Inc., (PKA), has taken a proactive approach to real estate development prior to and during COVID-19 to keep his Fort Lauderdale-based full-service residential and commercial architecture, planning and interior design firm thriving. Two PKA projects in Pompano Beach have just received site plan approval and have entered the Construction Document Phase.


Pasquale explained, “We’ve been able to keep viable projects in the pipeline through a new approach to the real estate development process. The Pompano project Aviara Corporate Park is an example of our new strategy of selecting the ideal site for development, securing the property, conducting marketing and product feasibility studies, then designing the right product for the marketplace and matching it with a qualified developer. This way we are able to map out our own corporate growth in new, promising markets and with new product types, as well as create closer relationships with real estate development partners.”

PKA has partnered with MAG Real Estate & Development Inc. and is providing full services from Design through Construction Administration for both properties.

  • Aviara East Pompano – a mixed-use multi-building property located at the gateway to Pompano Beach at the corner of McNab Road and Dixie Highway. The mixed-use building has 8,962 SF of rentable retail space on the ground floor topped by 60 residential apartments including studios, 1 BR and 2 BR units on the second to sixth floors. An eight-story residential building will offer 168 1BR and 2BR apartments. The third building is a leasing and management office combined with 4,296 SF of recreational amenity space including fitness room, lounge, game room and more, plus pool, sun deck, cabana and barbeque area. Construction completion is expected by the end of 2021. PKA Senior Project Manager is Chris O’Farrell.
  • Aviara Corporate Park – Over 40,000 SF of office and warehouse in three buildings at the 1200 block of NW 31st Avenue in Pompano Beach, plus an additional 49,000 SF four-story Class A commercial office building. PKA Project Manager is Julie Rios. Construction completion is expected by the end of 2021.
