Two Downtown Miami Properties Picked Up For $12 Million

The team behind the proposed Miami Worldcenter project continues to assemble the properties needed for the nine-block development.
Miami Fourth LLC, a Boca Raton company managed by Miami World Center Holdings LLC, has acquired two properties at 127 NE Ninth St. and 130 NE 10th St. for $12 million. The transaction closed Oct. 10 and was recorded by Miami-Dade County the next day. No financing was recorded.
Miami-based Equipment Leasing of Florida LLC is the seller. A 10,569-square-foot industrial building is located on the Ninth Street property.
Worldcenter plans almost disintegrated during the real estate downturn, but a 2011 investment by Los Angeles-based CIM Group Inc. seemingly revived the project west of Bicentennial Park and northeast of the former Miami Arena site. CIM, Falcone Group LLC and California-based Centurion Partners LLC co-own the Worldcenter site.
