Transwestern Inks 173,000 SF Renewal

IT distribution company Intcomex has signed a long-term 172,926-square-foot lease extension at its International Distribution Center headquarters in Doral. The deal is estimated to be valued at approximately $12 million.

“With Miami International Airport continuing to post strong freight volume and the domestic economy strengthening, distribution-focused tenants are positioning themselves in key Class A facilities for the long term,” said Transwestern’s Walter Byrd, who handled the deal along with Ben Eisenberg and Thomas Kresse. “Combined with the expansion of the Panama Canal and associated improvements in the Port of Miami, high quality and functional buildings in Airport West are in great demand.”
