Taylor & Mathis' John O’Neil Closes 81,786 SF In Office Leases

Taylor & Mathis of Florida Managing Director of Leasing, John O’Neil, represented the landlords seven office lease deals totaling 81,786 square feet year-to-date.
The value of the lease transactions exceeds $19 million.
Five of the deals represent new leases, which total 46,625 square feet:

  • A 13,395 SF lease at 9350 Financial Centre in South Miami.  The tenant, Gulliver Schools, Inc. was represented by Steven Hayes Wood of Colliers International.
  • A 11,972 SF lease at Airport Executive Tower I located at 1150 NW 72nd Avenue in Miami.  The Advocate Program, Inc. was represented by Doug Campbell of Campbell Real Estate Group.
  • South Florida Multispecialty Associates inked a 8,122 SF deal at Aventura Corporate Center II, located at 20803 Biscayne Boulevard.
  • UMG Recordings, Inc. closed on 8,546 SF at 404 Washington in Miami Beach.  The tenant was represented by Diana Parker of CBRE.
  • A 4,050 SF lease for DMX Latin America, which was represented by Scott Goldstein & Keith Edelman of Jones Lang LaSalle.

 
 
Two additional leases represented renewals:

  • AOR Management Company of Virginia renewed for  18,700 SF at Commons on Sunset, located at 9350 Sunset Drive in Miami.  Michael Klotz of CBRE represented the tenant.
  • Walton Lantaff Schroeder & Carson, LLP. renewed for 17,001 SF at 9350 Financial Centre.  John O’Neil & Brian Gale of Taylor & Mathis both represented the landlord.

 
“Tenants are taking advantage of market conditions to upgrade the quality of their space at the same or better financial terms,” stated O’Neil. “The “tire kicking” phase is over and companies realize that lease concessions will be drying up in the next 12 to 18 months.”
