Sperry Van Ness Beefs Up Industrial Team

Sperry Van Ness Commercial Realty announced that Joel A. Kattan and Hernan Prohaszka have been named Senior Advisors within its Fort Lauderdale office.
The addition of Kattan and Prohaszka significantly bolsters the firm’s industrial team led by managing directors Keith Kidwell and Les Byron.
For Kattan, a 12‐year industry veteran, the move to Sperry Van Ness is a coming home of sorts, as he spent six years with the firm before moving to Franklin Street where he was a Senior Director for three years. During his first tenure at Sperry Van Ness, Kattan ranked amongst Sperry’s top 100 brokers nationwide three consecutive times from field of 1200+ agents throughout the United States.
Prohaszka, also previously with Franklin Street, was part of an elite leasing team at Stiles Corporation that was responsible for the company’s expansive Broward County retail portfolio, before teaming up with Kattan.
Miami‐Dade County industrial will continue to be Kattan and Prohaszka’s focus, where in 2011 they handled more than 700,000 square feet of lease and sale transactions.
