Southeast Financial Closes Two More Leases

Southeast Financial Center, Florida’s tallest and largest office tower and plaza totaling 1.225 million square feet in the heart of Miami’s Central Business District, announced today 7,120 square feet of leases. These leases solidify Southeast Financial Center as the most significant leased tower in the state of Florida with approximately one million square feet under occupancy.
The recovering economy is providing confidence in consumer spending and business growth and the numerous companies tied to this metric are preparing for future growth. These two tenants, Diversified Search and Principal Lenders Group, Inc., are a testament to this recovery trend as well as the need for quality space featuring significant upgrades from both a location and amenity position.

  • Diversified Search, among the top executive search firms in the United States and the largest woman-founded and owned firm in the country, signed a long-term lease renewal and expanded its lease by 1,303 square feet for a total square footage of 4,281 on the 35th floor.
  • Principal Lenders Group, Inc., a hard equity loan financier for residential, commercial and multifamily properties, signed a new long-term lease for 2,839 square feet on the 29th floor.

“Our position on the skyline is an unwavering reminder of our prominence and quality of design,” said Donald Cartwright, Senior Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle, the exclusive leasing agent for the property. “We continue to attract and retain elite tenants looking for a business address of such caliber and esteemed institutional and debt free ownership.”
The aforementioned transactions come on the heels of the completion of the significant renovations for two recent tenants who have moved into their offices:

  • Duane Morris LLP, one of the nation’s largest law firms, has moved into their completely renovated space encompassing the full 34th floor.
  • Porsche Latin America, the sales, after sales, marketing, public relations and training provider for its partners in Latin America, recently moved into its new location within the building. The expanded space, totaling 5,881 square feet on the 46th floors offers breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
