Sabadell Financial Center Welcomes 5 New Tenants

Five new tenants have inked lease deals at Sabadell Financial Center, a 30-story Class A office building located at 1111 Brickell Avenue in the Brickell Financial District.The building’s newest tenants include worldwide travel search engine SkyScanner (8,035 SF); online real estate marketplace Auction.com (7,560 SF); oil refinery company Refinados Victoria (3,545 SF); financial advisory services company BT Capital (3,530 SF); and financial investment manager Heller House (1,043 SF).
In addition, lease renewals totaling 19,811 square feet were signed with current office tenants Barclays Bank (11,890 SF), a wealth and investment management company, and Guggenheim Partners (7,921 SF), a global investment and advisory firm.
Financial terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Tere Blanca, Danet Linares, and Juan Ruiz of Blanca Commercial Real Estate, exclusive leasing agent for Sabadell Financial Center, represented the building’s ownership in the transactions.
Vivian Gonzalez of Cresa represented SkyScanner; Carol Ellis Cutler of Avison Young represented Auction.com; Gavin MacPhail and Glenn Gregory represented Barclays Bank; and Rashid Siahpoosh of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Guggenheim. The other leases did not involve co-brokers.

Sabadell Financial Center is home to some of Miami’s most prominent companies including Sabadell United Bank, Telefonica USA, Ferragamo, Regus, and the law firms of Hunton & Williams and Baker & McKenzie.

The LEED Gold certified building was recently awarded BOMA Miami-Dade’s 2015 TOBY (The Outstanding Building of the Year) Earth Award, which recognizes environmentally-sound office buildings with management practices that efficiently implement and enhance green and sustainable programs.
