Samba Management Group leased over 10,000 square feet for a new Sushi Samba restaurant on the Miami River, near the former East Coast Fisheries, according to a release.

Wolfgang Herz and Ricardo DuPond of The Herz DuPond Real Estate Group, with Fortune International Realty represented both landlord and tenant in the deal.

Sushi Samba, which offers a blend of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine, music and design, has locations on Lincoln Road and Ponce de Leon in Coral Gables .

In another deal, Herz and DuPond also closed a 6,500-square-foot retail lease deal at Sunset Place for Mellow Mushroom. The pizzeria has over 150 locations in the United States and is known for it’s eclectic, art-filled, family-friendly environment.

Finally, the team also worked with Baru, a Latin-Caribbean restaurant, in securing a location in Kendall and Brickell, and another deal with Vice City Bean, a coffee shop, for a location at the Filling Station Lofts.
