New Class A Building Coming To Coral Gables

The Mas and Zubizarreta families are teaming up to develop a Coral Gables office building.
The new structure is to be creatively named  “The Building”. (Really. And there’s an ad agency moving in there.)  The 58,000-square-foot, Class A building at 2990 Ponce de Leon Blvd. is being developed by ALP Ventures and financed by HSBC Bank USA.
The Mas Group, a private equity, venture capital and real estate investment fund led by Juan Carlos Mas, has formed a joint venture with TAZ Partners for the project. TAZ is a real estate investment fund created by the Zubizarreta family, which founded Zubi Advertising, one of the largest Hispanic advertising agencies in the U.S.
The Mas Group and Zubi Advertising plan to relocate to “The Building” when it’s completed later this year.
Law firm Sanchez-Medina Gonzalez Quesada Lage Crespo Gomez & Machado has also signed a lease to move into the fourth floor of the project.
