Miami Gardens Retail Plaza Sold For $22M

A retail plaza in Miami Gardens was acquired for $21.5 million in cash by Westport, Conn.-based RAND.
CANAM Ventures owned the 185,000-square-foot center at 15095, 16301, 16381 and 16386 Northwest 57th Street for 25 years before selling it.
“We intend to make numerous improvements and implement a new leasing program. In just the 30 days since we purchased, we have received many inquires from potential tenants, including several nationals,” RAND President Jim Randelstated in a news release. “We have, in fact, already signed one new lease and are working on four more.”
