Liberty Property Sells Broward Trade Center

MCNA Dental acquired the Fort Lauderdale office building that houses its headquarters for $14.7 million.

Liberty Property L.P., an affiliate of Liberty Property Trust, sold the 118,952-square-foot Broward Trade Center to 200 West Cypress Creek LLC, managed by Glen Feingold, Dr. Jeffrey P. Feingold, and Samantha Feingold.

Jeffrey Feingold is president and CEO of MCNA Dental and Glen Feingold is executive VP and COO of the company. The company is a dental benefits manager with about 4 million customers. Its name is already on the building.

The price equates to $124 per square foot.

The office building was construction on the 3-acre site at the southwest corner of West Cypress Creek Road and North Andrews Avenue in 1983. It last traded for $5.7 million in 2003.

According to a recent online listing, 20,419 square feet was available for leasing in the building with an asking rate of $16.75 per square foot.
