Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Jacqueline Blake has returned to the firm as Managing Director in the firm’s Florida Occupier Services Group where she will focus on servicing the state’s corporate occupier clients.

Cushman & Wakefield’s Occupier Services Group assists clients with location services and helps manage real estate costs by mitigating risks, enhancing efficiency and providing informed occupancy solutions to address the complex needs of modern businesses. Blake will work out the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Blake joins Cushman & Wakefield after nine years servicing AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer with over 290 dealership locations representing 32 brands across 15 states. Through Cypress Equities, Blake serviced AutoNation as Senior Vice President and National Real Estate Director where she was involved in more than $750 million in transactions while managing the firm’s national portfolio and brokerage team.

In addition to her work with Occupier Services, Blake will utilize her extensive retail automotive experience as a member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Automotive Practice Group. This group, led by Managing Director Jeffrey Green, was founded earlier this year to address the distinctive challenges of the automotive sector including labor, logistics, infrastructure, credits and incentives and the unique requirements of the real estate itself.

“Jacqui joins our group at a transformational time in the history of the global automotive industry,” said Green. “Her industry expertise, market knowledge and exceptional transactional and advisory capabilities will be of great benefit to our clients and organization.”

Blake began her career in commercial real estate in 2000 with Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Brokerage Services Group in Broward and Palm Beach counties, managing leasing for a 2.6 million-square-foot Class A office portfolio throughout South Florida. Her impressive client list during this period included The Rockefeller Group, The Detroit Police and Firemen’s Pension Fund, Guggenheim, Mainstreet Capital Partners, Mayfield Gentry, NTS, Opus South, TIAA-CREF, Sunbelt Management, The Alter Group, The Hogan Group and Zell Holdings.

“I am thrilled to be back with Cushman & Wakefield where I can utilize the national experience I garnered with AutoNation to service our clients here in South Florida and beyond,” said Blake. “Companies can benefit greatly from the gamut of real estate services Cushman & Wakefield provides in addition to the location advisory and representation expertise we bring to the table.”

“Jacqui is an incredible addition to our growing South Florida operations,” said Larry Richey, Managing Principal and Florida Market Leader. “Her unique expertise and background will be an invaluable differentiator for our corporate occupier and automotive clients in the burgeoning South Florida market.”

Blake has been a top producer with her respective employers dating back to 2003 and earned multiple Deal of the Year awards for helping bring Kaplan University and 700 jobs to Cypress Creek in 2004. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, an ICSC member and former board member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and NAIOP of South Florida. Blake is also a member of The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. (AJLI) and the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale.

Blake is the second senior level professional to return to Cushman & Wakefield in South Florida this month. Recently, Senior Director Steven Bronstein, who helped found the firm’s Retail Brokerage Services Group, joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Miami office.
