International Real Estate Firm Unveils Details Of Mixed-Use, ‘Resort-Style’ Development In WPB

New York-based international real estate firm Time Equities, Inc. (TEI) has unveiled details of its mixed-use, resort-style development, CasaMara, located in West Palm Beach.

Located at 3111 South Dixie Highway, just south of Belvedere Road and in the heart of the El Cid neighborhood and the Antique Row district, CasaMara will serve as the ‘newest and chicest’ living and shopping destination for the area, according to a release.

CasaMara will offer 300 class-A apartments as well as a 16,000-square-foot clubhouse and an additional 16,000 square feet of retail shops along Dixie Highway called The Plaza at CasaMara (The Plaza). The project features a total of seven low-rise buildings that are spread out in a resort-like setting over 10 acres.

The property’s site planning and striking Spanish-Eclectic architecture is being handled by MSA Architects, while the modern interiors and amenities are being handled by ID and Design International. The homes will offer a wide range of unit types and sizes from studios to three-bedroom residences.

The indoor and outdoor amenities will include a resort pool with cabanas; a pool pavilion building with grilling stations and a 60-foot water wall; a Jacuzzi with therapeutic jets; a co-working lounge with private offices; a state-of-the-art fitness center; bark park; game room with billiards and Wii Stations; club room with art lounge and fire place; dining facilities for private parties and a full suite of children’s amenities including a kids pool, air conditioned playroom and outdoor playground.

The Plaza will offer a curated mix of neighborhood-scale retail stores and is receiving strong early demand. Set to open in Spring 2021, The Plaza will feature an inviting environment for the community and shoppers alike, including on-street parking, wide sidewalks with shade trees, lush landscaping, outdoor seating and a corner park with fountain. Avison Young has been tapped to handle the retail leasing and marketing for The Plaza.


“We have been in the market quietly now for a month or two and are seeing strong demand for the CasaMara shops due to their manageable sizes, built-in customer base and unbeatable exposure on Dixie Highway,” stated Don DeWoody, CCIM, Principal, Retail Advisory Services of Avison. “We are targeting best-in-class operators in each segment including wine, furniture, design, coffee, to name a few.”

CasaMara is conveniently located approximately 1.5 miles south of Downtown West Palm Beach on the burgeoning Dixie Corridor and offers easy access to I-95, Palm Beach International Airport and all that Palm Beach and Palm Beach County has to offer. TEI anticipates strong interest from residential tenants as well as local, regional and even national retail tenants. The area continues to evolve as additional large investments on the corridor occur, such as the Carefree Theater project and the on-going transformation of the former (neighboring) Palm Beach Post office building into a modern retail and office complex.

The project is financed by M&T Bank and represents their first construction loan in the South Florida market. KAST Construction is the construction management firm and Zabik & Associates is serving as the project management firm.
