Industrial/Warehouse Complex Among 3 Big Development Proposals Up For Vote In Broward

The Broward County Commission will hear three significant development proposals at its Dec. 3 meeting, with two in Pompano Beach and one in Fort Lauderdale.
A 450,000-square-foot warehouse/industrial complex is planned on a 27.4-acre site on the south side of Northwest 33rd Street between Blount Road and the Florida Turnpike. The applicant is Little B, Inc. a Pompano Beach-based company managed by Uhel Polly and Linda Polly.

Myelin Group, an affiliate of Davie-based Invesca Development Group, proposed a residential community in Pompano Beach with 270 mid-rise units, 50 townhomes, 30 garden apartments and 15,000 square feet of commercial space. The 9.4-acre site on the south side of Atlantic Boulevard between Northeast Fourth Avenue and Northeast Sixth Avenue currently has some offices and a small amount of residential. The properties were acquired for $7.05 million in 2012.
In Fort Lauderdale, a 77,700-square-foot auto dealership with 76,300 square feet of covered auto storage was proposed by Q Fort Lauderdale LLC, which is based in West Palm Beach and managed by Bruce Qvale. He is the head of Qvale Auto Group, which owns Audi dealerships in Lighthouse Point and Coral Springs and boasts about a Fort Lauderdale expansion on its website.
