IDI Announces 123,062 SF Lease At Pompano Business Center

Industrial Developments International (IDI) announced today that Whole Foods Market Group, Inc. (Whole Foods Market), a retailer of natural and organic foods, has renewed and expanded their 71,754-square-foot lease in Pompano Business Center in Pompano Beach, Florida to 123,062 square feet.
The deal brings Pompano Business Center’s Building M to 100% occupancy.
Whole Foods Market maintains the space as its South Florida distribution center. The existing space will continue to be used as cold storage while the expansion provides the company with additional space for a bake house and banana distribution.
“Whole Foods Market has been an important partner in Pompano Business Center for more than four years,” said Larry Dinner, vice president of leasing in IDI’s Florida office. “The extension and expansion of the company’s lease is evidence of the growing demand for Whole Foods Market within the market. We will continue to work with them to exceed needs as they continue to grow.” Whole Foods Market needed expanded distribution space, and Pompano Building M gives the company more state-of-the-art space in a Class-A facility.
Located just north of Fort Lauderdale at 2700 NW 19th Street, the 123,062-square-foot Pompano Building M is adjacent to both Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95.
Charlie Allen and Sky Groden of Cushman & Wakefield represented Whole Foods Market in the transaction. Larry Dinner represented IDI in the deal.
