Healthcare Company To Occupy 222,000 SF In Sunrise

AmSurg Corp. entered into an office lease with an affiliate of Illinois-based Torburn Partners for 222,000 square feet in Sunrise, for the headquarters of the company’s Physician Services Division.
Partnering with more than 1,800 physicians at more than 235 outpatient surgery centers across the United States, Amsurg is a nationally recognized leader in the development, management and operation of outpatient surgery centers, according to its website.
The company expects to occupy 167,000 square feet of office space at 8000 W. Sunrise Blvd. by Sept. 1, 2016 and an additional 55,000 square feet commencing May 1, 2017.
The lease is set to expire Feb. 28, 2029. The company may extend by up to two successive 5-year terms.
The property is the former Motorola Solutions  site.  Toburn Partners purchased the campus for $38.1 million in November 2013.
