Former Flagler Director Kathleen Rodriguez Joins Metro 1

Kathleen Rodriguez will join Metro 1 Properties as its new Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications.
The seasoned marketing and communications director joins Metro 1 from Flagler. Rodriguez will be responsible for shaping an integrated marketing and communications strategy to further build the Metro 1 brand and support the Company’s overall growth objectives.

Over the past decade, Rodriguez has worked on behalf of a prestigious list of commercial real estate players, including publicly traded REITs and international real estate owners, investors and dealmakers, to build brand awareness, raise visibility and promote clients’ people, projects and activities locally, regionally, and nationally.
Rodriguez most recently served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Flagler, where she developed and managed the overall corporate, property specific and third-party service divisions marketing and communications strategy. Prior to joining Flagler, Rodriguez served as Associate Vice President at Gregory FCA Communications—Philadelphia’s largest privately held public relations firm and one of the top 30 PR firms nationwide. Kathleen started her career with Beckerman Public Relations, one of New Jersey region’s highest-grossing public relations firms with a specialized focus on serving the real estate community.
Rodriguez is actively involved in industry and community associations, including the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and Urban Land Institute (ULI) Southeast Florida Chapter, College Challenge Committee; the Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF), Membership Committee; Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), active member; United Way Miami-Dade, Food & Wine Festival Committee; and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).
