Flagler Real Estate Services Names Matt Bittel Director of Leasing

Flagler Real Estate Services, LLC, the brokerage and property management arm of Flagler, announced Matthew A. Bittel has joined the company as Director of Leasing.
Bittel will be working with Senior Leasing Director Stuart T. Gordon, SIOR on the marketing and leasing efforts at Flagler Station, South Florida’s largest business park with more than ten million square feet of commercial space at full build out; and Doral Concourse, a Class-A, six-story, 240,000-square-foot office building. Both properties are located in the Miami Airport West submarket.
Having spent nearly a decade working in commercial real estate exclusively in South Florida, Bittel has closed more than 500 transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $100 million.
“Matt knows the intricacies and nuances involved in negotiating successful transactions in South Florida’s highly competitive marketplace,” said Keith Tickell, Chief Operating Officer of Flagler. “His experience coupled with his local market expertise will be a valuable addition to our seasoned team of high-quality brokers.”
Prior to joining Flagler, Bittel served as Senior Director of Brokerage Services at Adler Realty Services, where he led the marketing and leasing of the company’s South Florida property portfolio, totaling more than two million square feet of office, industrial, retail, and flex space.
Active in industry and professional organizations, Bittel is an active member of the Certified Commercial Investment Member Institute (CCIM), CREW Miami, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Commercial Industrial Association of South Florida (CIASF) and Beacon Council.  He also serves on the board of directors of the University of Miami’s Citizen’s Board, United Way’s Veritage Miami, United Way Young Leadership Executive Committee, Greater Miami Jewish Federation, University of Central Florida Alumni Association and the Dave & Mary Alper JCC.
A Miami native, Bittel earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance from the University of Central Florida and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida.  Bittel is a graduate of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Miami class of 2006-2007 and is actively pursuing his CCIM and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations.
