Flagler Appoints New President

Jose Hevia is out as president and CEO of commercial real estate powerhouse Flagler, and Vince Signorello, who was COO and acting CFO, is now running the company, which was confirmed by his company voicemail greeting.
Hevia, who was with the company for more than two decades left the company Friday.
Although some in the company were surprised by his departure, a statement indicated it was amicable.
“It has been an honor for me to be a part of the Flagler company for the past 24 years, and an incredible privilege to have had the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group of individuals,” Hevia stated. “South Florida will continue to be my home where I am very much looking forward to the next chapter in my life.” The statement, however, didn’t include what Hevia that next chapter would encompass.
Flagler is the region’s largest commercial property management company with 18.75 million square feet, according to the South Florida Business Journal‘s 2011 Book of Lists. It also ranked first among commercial developers, with 922,833 square feet.
Signorello has more than a decade of real estate investment experience. He first joined Flagler in 2009 as chief investment officer, and subsequently assumed the role of acting CFO.
