Farmers Insurance Signs 58,000 SF Lease

Farmers Insurance Exchange Group signed a 58,461 square foot lease in the Royal Palm II at Southpoint office building located at 900 S. Pine Island Rd. in Plantation.
The tenant will occupy the entire fifth and sixth floors and a small portion of the fourth floor upon completion of build out.
In a separate deal, the landlord, Duke Realty Corporation, also signed the law firm Upchurch, Watson, White & Max Mediation Practice to a 6,719-square-foot lease on the fourth floor.
The eight-story, 225,284-square-foot, class A office building was built in 2007. Farmers Insurance will be moving from its current location on Stirling Road in Davie.
Chris Gallagher of Duke Realty Corporation represented the landlord in-house. Bob Schneiderman in the Boca Raton office of DTZ worked alongside Robert Blumenthal in DTZ’s Chicago office to complete the transaction on behalf of the tenant.
