Early Education Company Relocates, Inks 39,000 SF Lease

The Learning Experience®, one of the nation’s fastest growing Academies of Early Education for children six weeks to six years old, announced the signing of a 39,000-square-foot lease at Hillsboro Technology Center, a newly-constructed business park located east of I-95 and north of West Hillsboro Boulevard in Deerfield Beach.
The new space, which The Learning Experience is scheduled to occupy in fall 2017, represents a relocation and expansion of its global headquarters to span 28,000 square feet over two full floors as well as a separate 11,000-square-foot space designated for its new flagship Academy of Early Education (preschool).
The Learning Experience’s new headquarters will match the company’s ethos of “Learn. Play. Grow,” which encourages a highly engaging and collaborative environment. Inspired and driven by the Millennial and Generation X workforce, the new office space for the company will include:

• Sleek, modern open workspaces and common areas
• A 3,000-square-foot training facility for teachers, franchisees and staff to learn best practices
• A 1,500-square-foot state-of-the-art video and digital production studio
• Large, full kitchen and coffee bar with Starbucks machines to further enhance the intent for a convivial atmosphere
• A usable slide connecting both floors of the headquarters, a constant reminder of the demographic the company serves: children

The 11,000-square-foot space for the Academy of Early Education will expand upon the purpose-built design featured in its 180 existing centers, enhancing the connection between a child’s environment and the six stages of development at The Learning Experience. The new center in Deerfield Beach will house a Make Believe Boulevard® – miniature Main Street, USA – and boast a 10,000-square-foot outside playground. As The Learning Experience’s flagship center, it will serve as the company’s “innovation incubator,” representing a center of the future. Cutting-edge learning development and best practices will be cultivated from this location with the intention of being implemented system-wide.

Hillsboro Technology Center is well-located in Northeast Broward County and is immediately adjacent to the four-way interchange of I-95 and Hillsboro Boulevard, providing tenants with convenient access to service Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade counties.
The business park will total approximately 925,000 square feet upon completion and will feature state-of-the-art Class A warehouse distribution facilities, offices, and a limited service hotel. The first phase of the project will also include a developer-donated recreation building for Deerfield Beach and a public park with jogging and walking trails.
