Duke Realty Proposes Warehouse In West Palm Beach

Duke Realty Corp. wants to build a warehouse near West Palm Beach as construction surges in the industrial market.

The Palm Beach County Zoning Commission will consider the plans for the 10-acre site at 849 N. Benoist Farms Road on Dec. 3.

Duke acquired the property for $6 million in March. It’s currently used for outdoor storage of heavy trucks.

The site located a few minutes from the Southern Boulevard exit of Florida’s Turnpike, giving it good access for a distribution center. Duke Realty completed the Turnpike Crossing East industrial park nearby in 2016. Amazon.com is among the tenants there.

The new warehouse would total 114,021 square feet, including 20,500 square feet of accessory office space. There would be 146 parking spaces and 48 loading spaces.
