In the downtown Miami area, the Price Choice supermarket could soon be demolished to make way for a mixed-use project.

MRR Development, which includes Rotem Rosen, Jerry Rotonda and Indian billionaire Anand Mahindra, is in contract to buy the supermarket and adjacent Learning Nest property for $30 million, with plans to redevelop it, according to The Real Deal.

Up to 1.9 million square feet is permitted on the site, which totals 1.42 acres.

MRR is said to be in talks with “Silicon Valley groups” for the new project.

Another project, Miami 18, is planned across the street, with up to 1,200 residences, along with retail and office.
