C&W's Criddle, Etner Ink 114,000 SF Broward Office Lease

Cushman & Wakefield announced Friday that it has brokered a ±114,000-square-foot office lease at Pompano Business Center for Sitel Operating Corporation’s new inbound financial services call center.
Sitel, a leading global customer care provider based in Nashville, Tennessee, is already training 350 new employees in the space and plans to go on-line next month. Sitel expects to create more than 1,000 new jobs in the facility by this time next year.
Director John K. Criddle, Executive Director Richard Etner, Executive Director Christopher Metzger, and Senior Director Christopher Thomson represented building owner J.P. Morgan in the transaction, which Cushman & Wakefield Research reports as the third largest new office lease in Broward County this year.
 

“Backfilling a 114,000-square-foot vacancy with limited divisibility was no small task,” said Criddle. “Despite this challenge, our team was ultimately able to identify a credit tenant, bring them to the table, and – along with the City of Pompano Beach – secure a deal that benefits our client, Sitel, and the community at large.”

“This transaction is just another testament to the strengthening office market in Broward County,” added Criddle.

Sitel has been aggressively pursuing growth in the state of Florida, announcing plans to create 2,000 new jobs in the past two months alone. In addition to the Pompano Beach location, the firm has hired 700 new employees in Lake City and plans to add 300 more in Ocala.
