Comras Closes 10,000 SF Deal

Comras Company has completed a long-term new lease for 10,440 square feet for Büro, South Florida’s leading provider of modern workspace for entrepreneurs and creative professionals.
Marking the second location for the Miami-based company, following its successful debut in Midtown, Büro will occupy the entire second floor at 1815 Purdy Avenue. Comras Company’s Jonathan Carter, Director of Leasing, was the exclusive leasing broker for the transaction.
“Büro was seeking a Miami Beach location with similar neighborhood dynamics and demographics as Midtown Miami,” said Mr. Carter. “In addition to requiring creative space with significant exposure, the tenant looked for proximity to restaurants, complementary retail offerings, and ample parking.”
Within the past few years, Sunset Harbour has become home to various new retail offerings to complement the residential and business developments. Additionally, the City of Miami Beach, together with developer Scott Robins, is set to open a 550 car community parking garage in June 2012, which will further accelerate the area’s growth and popularity.
Inspired by a growing co-working trend in the US and Europe, Michael Feinstein founded Büro in 2009 to provide the ideal work environments for today’s entrepreneurs, freelancers, independent professionals and small businesses.
“We successfully identified and capitalized on a gap in the local office market,” said Michael Feinstein, Founder and CEO of Büro Group. “Startups and creative professionals are not well served by standard office leases and cookie-cutter corporate spaces…Büro’s flexible, stylish and collaborative workspaces are a much better solution for these individuals and growing companies. We believe Sunset Harbour is a perfect fit for our concept and we look forward to bringing dozens of exciting young companies into this dynamic neighborhood.”
Comras Company has led the creative charge of developing burgeoning retail sectors, such as South Beach’s Historic Lincoln Road and the Collins Avenue Fashion District. The Company continues its progression with its moves into the burgeoning areas of Wynwood, Midtown Miami and the Design District.
