Cavastone Group, a high-end South Florida-based supplier of natural stones and other quality design materials, has expanded its footprint with a new, 17,835-square-foot warehouse lease in Boca Raton. The company also renewed its lease of a 7,000-square-foot showroom in Dania Beach. Combined with an existing 11,600-square-foot space in Boca Raton, the growing boutique supplier will now occupy nearly 37,000 square feet in South Florida.

Charlie Exelbirt, President of Mattis Advisors, a Boca Raton-based commercial real estate services firm, represented Cavastone in both the new lease and renewal.

“Cavastone came to us with a need for more space, and we were pleased to find them the perfect location in Boca Raton that met their needs and timeline, while allowing room for continued growth,” said Exelbirt. “We see this as a great sign that businesses are still growing and thriving in the South Florida market, and we expect to see a continued uptick in leasing activity over the coming months.”

The new, 17,835-square-foot space, at 1377 Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton, will serve as Cavastone’s warehouse and storage space. The fully air-conditioned property features 24-foot ceilings, multiple dock height loading doors and ample truck court space. It is conveniently situated in between Florida’s Turnpike and Interstate 95, in an area where many high-end lighting and appliance companies as well as designers, architects and builders are located.

Cavastone will be relocating from another warehouse where it had 8,000 square feet, and plans to take occupancy at 1377 Clint Moore Road on July 1. Jason Abitbol of Apex Capital Realty represented the landlord, Revah Management, LLC, in the lease negotiations.

The 7,000-square-foot lease renewal is for Cavastone’s existing state-of-the-art showroom at 1925 Tigertail Blvd. in Dania Beach. The facility is situated within Prologis Hollywood Park, a master-planned logistics park with visibility to Interstate 95. CBRE’s Tom O’Loughlin and Michael Oretsky represented the landlord, Prologis, in the renewal.

“Cavastone itself represents perseverance. During these difficult times we all face today, we understood that hard work and optimism are our best allies,” said Connie Davalos, Owner of Cavastone. “We were born in the middle of the previous financial recession with our eyes set on the goal of making our name synonymous with elegance and uniqueness in the building industry. It was not an easy task at all at that time of economic uncertainty, but we never looked back and kept our vision clear. We are confident of the job we do and our clients value our great service and the uniqueness of our materials.’’

Cavastone Group, founded in 2006, is a family-owned business committed to supplying out-of-the ordinary natural stone, as well as sustainable, eco-friendly bio-architectural materials, for a wide variety of design solutions. Its products include porcelain, marble, travertine, limestone, granite, recycled glass and more.
