Columbus Center To Reveal New Lobby

On Thursday, June 28th, Columbus Center is set to reveal it’s new lobby.

The lobby renovation, estimated at approximately $400,000, is part of an on-going building common area $1 million renovation program.

The big reveal festivities will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Columbus Center, located at One Alhambra Plaza in Coral Gables. Notable attendees include the Honorable Mayor Jim Cason, City of Coral Gables; Cynthia Birdsill, Economic Sustainability Director, City of Coral Gables; Sam Mitts, Executive Managing Director, USAA Real Estate Company; and Trey Guajardo, Executive Director, Office Portfolio Management, USAA Real Estate Company.

Owned by USAA Real Estate Company, Columbus Center is a 260,300-sq.-ft. Class A office tower home to such tenants as Bank of America, Yahoo, Apple, and Exxon-Mobil to name a few. The property sets a precedence for sustainability and energy efficiency with repeated recognition from Energy Star, BOMA, and the USBGC.
