Colliers South Florida Names Industry Vet Executive VP

bob schneidermanColliers International South Florida has hired industry veteran Bob Schneiderman, SIOR, as Executive Vice President, Occupier Services.
Schneiderman brings senior-level experience, most recently serving as the Executive Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s South Florida operations. He will be working across all of Colliers’ five offices in South Florida.
With an extensive background in working with both global and local corporations, on strategy and tenant representation, Schneiderman has completed more than 2.25 million square feet of leases valued in excess of $750 million in his career, along with sales valued at over $115 million. His broad experience includes tenant representation, corporate advisory services, renewal representation, build-to-suit, financial and market analysis, acquisition and disposition of real estate, project leasing and real estate consulting.
Schneiderman’s recent closed transactions include Cell Science Systems Corp.’s expansion and restructuring of its 47,000-square-foot headquarters in Deerfield Beach and Comcast’s 40,000-square-foot lease in Fort Myers. He has also completed numerous other transactions for clients such as Nightingale Nurses, Humana, Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. and G4S Secure Solutions (USA).

Schneiderman has had experience with several other well-known commercial real estate brokerage firms, previously serving as the Executive Vice President and Managing Director for DTZ’s South Florida offices, and prior to that, a Principal at NAI Merin Hunter Codman, where he served as the Southeast Chair of the NAI Office Council, according to a release. With an extensive list of industry involvement, Schneiderman was consistently a member of NAI’s Gold Club, which recognizes top producers and was inducted into the NAI Hall of Fame in 2008. He also won an award that acknowledges individuals who have fostered business between NAI firms.
Schneiderman earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, and has an MBA from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Colliers International South Florida has five offices in Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties, and has now grown to 38 brokers and over 100 professionals, specializing in all aspects of commercial real estate including office, industrial and retail leasing and sales for both occupiers and investors, as well as hospitality and land sales, property and project management, and appraisal and consulting services.
