Colliers Receivership Solutions Expands Portfolio And Staff

Colliers International South Florida is pleased to announce that the Receivership Solutions group has expanded its client base, property portfolio and staff.
Donna Miller has joined the firm as Vice President of Receivership Solutions. Together with Executive Vice President of Receivership, Bruce Kassman, Donna will manage the firm’s growing portfolio of properties for our lender and special servicer clients.

Miller is a 24-year licensed real estate attorney with extensive knowledge of legal and real estate issues, including expertise in representing real estate developers, lenders and the Resolution Trust Corporation. Prior to joining Colliers, Miller was a real estate associate, partner and of counsel to several large law firms in Miami and Fort Lauderdale working in their Real Estate and Banking Departments. She worked extensively with developers in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and sale of commercial and residential real estate. She also has considerable experience in the sale and workouts of real estate from failed savings and loan institutions.

Colliers International South Florida launched its Receivership Solutions service group in 2009, just as the number of commercial foreclosures began to escalate. Since then, the team has successfully accelerated the success of numerous banks and special servicers that have been forced to take back properties. The group has provided receivership services for properties across South Florida, on the Gulf Coast and up to Central Florida. Properties have included a 290,000-square-foot high-rise office building in Orlando, over 600 apartment units, and over 250,000 square feet of mixed-use and retail space.
