CityPlace Office Tower Adds 7,000sf Tenant

Accounting firm MarcumRachlin has leased 7,000 square feet at CityPlace Office Tower in downtown West Palm Beach.
The firm will relocate their West Palm Beach office from Phillips Point to CityPlace in August, 2011.
“We feel there’s great value to the office tower’s central location and direct access to CityPlace,” said Larry Blum, MarcumRachlin managing partner, in a news release about the deal. “But it was the building’s comprehensive disaster features and systems that was the key factor in our decision to relocate. It’s reassuring to know that, even if the area is hit by a major hurricane, we can continue to service our clients uninterrupted.”
The 300,000-square-foot tower is equipped with a $4 million backup generator system that runs on redundant feeds of natural gas and fuel, high-impact windows and multiple telecommunication providers.
