Apartment Complex Across Street From FIU Fetches $556K Per Unit

An affiliate of New York-based Adam America Real Estate paid $20 million for an apartment complex across the street from Florida International University in Sweetwater.

Trusts led by Rogelio Foch and Steef Foch sold the 36 apartments at 10726 S.W. Seventh St. to K2 Sweetwater LLC and SW TIC LLC, both managed by Omri Sachs of Adam America Real Estate. Bank Leumi USA provided a $12 million mortgage to the buyer.

The price equated to $555,556 per unit.

According to its website, Adam America Real Estate has 15 projects with over 1,800 apartments.
