Adler Realty Services Appoints New President And CEO

Adler Realty Services (ARS), a division of Adler Group that specializes in property management, sales and leasing and brokerage services, announces the appointment of Christopher E. Balish, as President and Chief Executive Officer of Adler Realty Services.
As President and CEO, Balish will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the leasing, brokerage, property management, asset management, asset reporting and client relations and overall growth of the firm.
“Christopher comes to Adler Realty Services with over 25 years of senior level real estate experience and the proven leadership ability this position requires,” said Michael M. Adler, chairman and CEO of Adler Group. “His wide range of expertise, from leasing, property management, asset management to client relations, will serve to strengthen Adler Realty Services for continued growth.”
Balish has led national platform teams for some of the industries top companies. Prior to joining, Balish was Director-Vice President for HDGM Advisory Services, LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he led a national institutional portfolio of over eight million square feet in 28 states valued at $1.6 Billion. Additionally, he served as Senior Vice President – Asset Management with Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. assisting in their IPO launch as one of the strongest publicly traded Healthcare REITs with a portfolio of 12 million square feet valued at over $2.1 billion.
Balish also led Lauth Property Group, as First Vice President, growing a national office, industrial, retail and healthcare portfolio to over 10 million square-feet valued at over $1.4 Billion. Additionally, throughout his career, Balish has managed, developed and leased many of the premier office, industrial and healthcare properties across the country.
He earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Management-Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Communications Arts & Science from Western Michigan University, and he earned a Master of Business Administration in Management and Finance from George Mason University. Balish also has a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation and Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) designation from Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), respectively.
