Southeast Financial Center® announced the signing of a 27,054 square foot lease renewal and expansion to law firm Arnstein & Lehr LLP.

Arnstein & Lehr, which was represented by Donna Abood of Colliers International, signed on for an additional 4,700 square feet with the most recent expansion.

Over the past 6 years at Southeast Financial Center, the law firm has taken an additional 11,900 square feet within the building.

One of the country’s oldest and most respected law firms, Arnstein & Lehr joins recent noteworthy legal leases at Southeast Financial Center over the past 3 months, including Shutts & Bowen taking 69,155 square feet and White & Case renewing for 57,494 square feet. These transactions are consistent with 4th Quarter Miami market reports, which indicated that law firms continue to lead the CBD market in terms of demand of total square footage.

“When Arnstein & Lehr initially secured space on the 36th floor at Southeast Financial Center, they understood the importance of a prestigious address. Their growth and recommitment to our building is parallel with our property’s significant improvements and underscores the vitality in the address,” said Nicole Vassilaros, Vice President with Jones Lang LaSalle, who represented the Landlord in the lease transaction.

In today’s competitive marketplace, efficiencies in design and floor plans, collaboration and creativity are influencing many companies’ demand for office space. According to a recent study by CoreNet Global, this will only grow in importance as the average space per worker continues to decrease. “Our ability to facilitate the design needs and space requirements of the legal community has enabled us to secure 24 law firm tenants which span 431,588 square feet of space, eleven of which are currently listed on the 2013 National Law Journal 350,” added Donald Cartwright, Senior Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle, who along with Ms. Vassilaros are the exclusive leasing agents for Southeast Financial Center.

Since its founding in 1893, Arnstein & Lehr has served clients – large and small – throughout the United States and in many foreign countries. More than a century later, Arnstein & Lehr has established itself as a sophisticated, full-service practice that addresses the diverse and complex needs of its clients with vision, expertise, and a commitment to quality and service.
