Whole Foods To Open Four Stores In South Florida

Over a six-week period in early 2015, Whole Foods Market plans to open four stores in South Florida, beginning with a store in downtown Miami on Jan. 14.
The Miami store will total 41,000 square feet and  be located at 299 SE Third St., which will be the grocer’s 22nd location in the state of Florida. Later in the month, (Jan. 28) Whole Foods will open a store in Pompano Beach. That will be followed by a store opening in Davie on Feb. 11 and in West Palm Beach on Feb. 25.
The Pompano store will be located at 2411 N. Federal Highway. The Davie store will involve a relocation from the current store in Plantation and will be housed at 1903 University Drive. The West Palm Beach store will be located at 1845 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., Building C.
The stores will range between 40,000 square feet and 44,000-square-feet, company officials say.

“We are thrilled to be expanding our presence in South Florida,” says Juan Nunez, president of the company’s Florida region. “With these four new stores, we’ll be able to offer our customers more options, introduce new and exciting products, and give back to the local communities that have embraced us.”
