Sperry Van Ness Expands Sales Team

Sperry Van Ness’s Miami office is expanding yet again.
Mark King joins SVN as a Senior Advisor focusing in the retail and multi-family segments of commercial real estate in South Florida.

In addition to transacting real estate assets, Mark has a personal history of owning and managing multi-family and retail sites, giving him a different perspective than many of his contemporaries.  He has experience in entitling retail land, transforming challenged multi-family assets, and managing and leasing core retail establishments.  This experience and Mark’s keen eye for promising opportunities, along with a firm grasp of market fundamentals, has led to high returns for  his clients.
Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness South, Mark was with New York City based Racebrook Capital, the parent company of Sheldon Good & Company.  His work with Racebrook began in Denver in 2009 working with Sheldon Good & Company as an Associate Director of business development bringing commercial properties to auction.  His business acumen led him to list portfolios of properties nationwide including a fractured mixed use project in Aspen, a Denver bank portfolio, and a trustee sale of 7 resort condominiums spread across the United States. His accomplishments did not go unrecognized and soon he was recruited to the Manhattan headquarters of Racebrook. In his new role as Director, he focused on real estate related bankruptcy cases and other hard to value real estate assets in markets across the country.
Mark brings more than 15 years of experience in commercial and resort real estate transactions. His analytical approach, comprehensive market knowledge and engaging personality adds value to every transaction.
