Mixed-Use Project To Break Ground In Coral Gables

Giralda Place, a mixed-use project featuring condos, offices and retail, will break ground in Coral Gables on April 1.
Giralda PB LLC, headed by Heidi Eckes-Chantré, Kim Tabet and Christopher Brown, is building the project with two new buildings at 2222 Ponce de Leon Blvd., on the corner of Giralda Avenue. It will feature 33 condos in 77,520 square feet, 57,700 square feet of professional “Class A” office space, 13,882 square feet of retail in four spaces, a 7,400-square-foot pool deck with a wet bar and lounge, and 419 parking spaces in a 170,900-square-foot garage.

The condos will include two- and three-bedroom units plus townhouses. Prices will start in the low $900,000s. Giralda Place will also include a gym.

In addition, the developers will renovate a 40,104-square-foot existing commercial building with a new roof, HVAC equipment and all glass walls. The new buildings will stretch to Salzedo Street on what’s currently vacant land and parking lots.

The ground breaking ceremony will start at 3 p.m. and feature project team members such as Fullerton Group Architects, M2E Consulting, Grycon Construction, B&G Design and EWM International.
