HOK, Plaza Construction and CBRE will oversee the expansion of a corporate headquarters in Miami scheduled to break ground later this month.

The client is Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Ltd. and will represent Miami’s first true corporate campus. The expansion will include a new 10-story, 350,000 square-foot office building and 1,500-space parking garage at the southwest corner of Dodge Island.

“Plaza has been building iconic buildings in Miami since 2002 and is pleased to include Royal Caribbean in its portfolio,” says Brad Meltzer, President, Plaza Construction.

“This exciting development will surely have a ripple effect in the South Florida economic landscape for a long time,” says Liz Melendez, Project Management Director at CBRE. “We are proud to partner with Royal Caribbean in the construction of this modern state-of-the-art facility.”

“Informed by and incorporating design elements of Royal Caribbean’s ships, the new building flows up from the water’s edge,” says Ken Drucker, Design Principal at HOK.
