Fresh Market Coming To South Miami

Miami residents can expect the opening of The Fresh Market at The Falls in Miami-Dade County.
The Greensboro, N.C.-based chain, founded in 1982, operates more than 100 stores and is known for its full-service meat counter, fresh seafood delivered several times a week, more than 200 imported and domestic cheeses, and a produce department with more than 400 items and a large organic selection, and bakeries that offer 30 breads a day and 14 varieties of pie daily.
It’s current South Florida locations include Aventura, Boca Raton, Coconut Grove, Coral Springs, Pembroke Pines and Wellington, with more stores coming soon to Miami Beach and western Boca Raton.
The Falls is an 806,000-square-foot regional mall anchored by Bloomingdale’s and Macy’s. Fresh Market will build an about 22,000-square-foot building near Bloomingdale’s, at the corner of South Dixie Highway (U.S. 1) and Southwest 136th Street.
