Food Distributor Moves Corporate HQ Into 30,000 SF Coral Gables Space

Quirch Foods has moved its corporate headquarters to Coral Gables.
The multinational food distribution company – which serves the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America – relocated its 155-member executive staff to 2701 South Le Jeune Road in downtown Coral Gables. The company leased approximately 30,000 square feet of Class A office space at the 15-story Mediterranean-style building, which is also home to Bacardi USA’s world headquarters.
Quirch considered several factors when searching for a new location, including close proximity to major transportation hubs and easy access to dining, shopping and entertainment.
 

“Given the company’s growth, we felt it was the right time to address our workplace and organizational needs,” said Frank Grande, President of Quirch Foods. “The City of Coral Gables was a standout. We are looking forward to contributing to and enjoying all the benefits the City has to offer – from the business community to general lifestyle.”

Tere Blanca of Miami-based brokerage and advisory firm Blanca Commercial Real Estate represented Quirch Foods in the deal. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in Miami in 1967, Quirch Foods is one of the country’s largest regional and international food distribution enterprises, serving large and independent retailers across the United States, the Caribbean, Central and South America. Today, the family-owned company operates five distribution facilities with a combined 700,000 square feet of refrigerated warehouse space and a fleet of more than 120 trucks servicing its customers – which include independent grocers, big retail chains, food processors, wholesalers, food service companies, restaurants and hotels.
