CRE Rock Star Joins Transwestern

One of South Florida’s most well-respected investment professionals just joined Transwestern—and he’s poised to shake up the local market. John Bell is officially on board to lead the firm’s South Florida capital markets team.
Bell is serving as managing director of investment sales for South Florida. In that capacity, he will focus on the sale of office, retail, industrial, multifamily, and development sites as well as joint ventures, equity raises, and financing.

Ford isn’t exaggerating. Bell’s track record speaks for itself. He has executed commercial real estate transactions worth more than $3 billion across all asset types, with a primary focus in the Florida and Southeast US markets. What’s more, Bell is an expert in trophy and distressed assets and has a notable roster of institutional, private, and special servicer clients.
Before singing on with Transwestern, Bell was managing director and head of Southeast region for Rockwood Real Estate Advisors. Before that, he was executive vice president and principal at Trammell Crow, where he served as head of the South Florida investment sales department.
Bell also once served a executive vice president with CBRE after its merger with Trammell. Prior to that, he was senior director at Cushman & Wakefield, focusing on investment sales, as well as valuation and consulting services for a wide range of institutional clients, insurance companies, pension funds, and lending institutions.
