Consulate General Of Brazil Takes 24,500 SF At Miami Green

William H. Holly, President of Pointe Group Advisors, signed two separate long-term, Miami-area office leases to international consulates from Brazil and Germany.
The Consulate General of Brazil is relocating from its current office space on the 26th floor of 80 S.W. 8th Street in Brickell to the class A, 13-story Miami Green building in Coral Gables. The 24,518-square-foot space at 3150 Miami Green Way will offer the consulate green amenities, ground floor space and a rooftop terrace, which were of particular importance and will enhance the consulate’s operations, as well as accommodate its growth. Pointe Group Advisors is the exclusive brokerage firm for the building.
The consulate selected Miami Green for its location and accessibility as the building is only 100 yards from the Metro Rail Station, Gables Trolley and Metro Dade Bus Station, as well as being just 15 minutes from Miami International Airport. This transaction takes leasing above 50 percent at the building.
In a separate transaction, the German Consulate General of Miami renewed its lease at New World Tower to occupy an 8,921-square-foot space for a term of 10 years. The building is located at 100 N. Biscayne Blvd. in Downtown Miami. Financial terms of the lease were not disclosed
“These lease transactions continue to demonstrate the strength of international business and tourism throughout South Florida, particularly from the Latin American and European markets,” said Holly, who represented both buildings in the deals and is the winner of the 2014 BOMA award for Leasing Agent of the Year. “New World Tower and Miami Green offer premier locations, amenities and accessibility which are essential to operations for both consulates.”
