Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International Senior Vice President Steve Hyatt recently represented 2638 Polk Street, LLC in the $1.05 million sale of 0.891 acres of land in Hollywood to Hollywood Downtown Hotel, LLC, an affiliate of CN Hotels, Inc.

The site, located at 2638 Polk Street along Hollywood Circle, is slated for development into a 119-room business class hotel.

“The City of Hollywood recently re-zoned this area to allow for hotel development and is actively encouraging the redevelopment of this key business corridor,” Hyatt said. “The location of the site makes it ideal for achieving that goal.”

Located directly across from City Hall, the site fronts Hollywood Boulevard, which has a traffic count of 52,500 cars per day. Situated east of I-95 and west of US-1, the site also offers high visibility on Hollywood Circle.

Based in Greensboro, N.C. and established in 1994, CN Hotels is a fully integrated hotel ownership, development and operations company with a portfolio of high-quality hotels in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.

Affiliated with brands including Marriott, Hilton, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Choice Hotels International, Wyndham Hotels and Best Western International, CN Hotels most recently opened the Home2 Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port in Dania Beach, providing accommodations for vacationers, cruise line passengers and business people.

CN Hotels’ development of 2638 Polk Street is expected to mirror Home2 Suites’ creation of about 30 new jobs in the community.
