Atlantic Commercial Group Completes Land Sale To DR Horton

Gary Broidis, Principal of Delray Beach-based Atlantic Commercial Group, Inc. recently completed the sale of two land parcels located on Lyons Road, immediately north of the Sawgrass Expressway in Coconut Creek.
National home builder DR Horton, Inc. is planning to build an 18,000-square-foot office building on the site, which is located within the Sawgrass Office Park. The building will serve as DR Horton’s regional headquarters, according to a release.
The parcels sold for $1.2 million.
These last remaining parcels complete the development of the original 75-acre parcel that have, over the last 10 years, been sold off to a residential developer, El Dorado Furniture and various principals and other companies.
 

“This last transaction marks the end of an approximately 8 year relationship with Dr. Ashok Patel, the owner of the 75-acre tract of land.  It has been a great experience working with Dr. Patel on this project and I am delighted to have successflly completed the disposition of the land and buildings in this very attractive office park,” said Broidis.
