30 Part Ways With Flagler Real Estate Services

Third party services company Avison Young has hired 30 Flagler Real Estate Services executives, brokers and support staff as part of its entry in Florida.
As part of the deal, Pike Rowley, Keith O’Donell, Wayne Schuchts, Greg Martin, A.J. Belt III, Brian Mark, Michael Vullis and Scott Auker  are now principals at Avison Young.
Rowley, formerly President of Flagler Real Estate Services (FRES), takes on the role of managing director over Florida for Avison Young, Avison Young, one of Canada’s largest independently-owned commercial real estate services company.
Additionally, David Bateman, David Duckworth, Van Barron, Brett Rowley and Jonathan Senn are also shifting to Avison  from FRES.
One senior broker that is staying with FRES is longtime community leader, Senior Managing Director Jack Lowell.
The expansion adds 3.4 million square feet to Avison Young’s property management portfolio, bringing the company’s total square feet under management to approximately 50 million square feet. It’s common for property managers and leasing brokers to continue with a property even after a sale to a new owner, so it appears that landlords stayed with outgoing FRES staffers who switched employers.
“We have always viewed the major Florida markets as critical to our national platform, especially as the demographics continue to shift in that direction, and as capital from both North America and South America continues to seek investments in these markets,” Mark E. Rose, Chair and CEO of Avison Young, said in a statement.
Avison Young’s new Florida headquarters will be 515 E Las Olas Blvd., Suite 400 in Fort Lauderdale. Branch offices will be located at 1875 NW Corporate Blvd., Suite 280, Boca Raton, and 1111 Brickell Ave., Suite 1100, Miami.
